Operating principle Granular furnace usually consists of these components, whether basic or complex: A funnel Helical system Two blowers: combustion and convection Hotbox: cooking pot and ash collection system, sometimes lined with ceramic fiber board Various safety functions (vacuum switch, thermal sensor) One controller For normal operation, the pellet furnace uses electricity and can be connected to a standard power outlet. The particle furnace, like the automatic coal feeder, is a constant fuel consuming heater, which is evenly fed into the combustion tank (perforated cast iron or steel basin) from the refillable hopper through the electric system. The most commonly used distributor is the auger system, which consists of spiral length metal wrapped in the pipe. The mechanism is either located above or slightly below the combustion tank and directs a portion of the particulate fuel from the hopper upward until it falls into the combustion tank for combustion.
