Pellet Cook Stove
Exhaust gas from particle heating stoves, if fully burned, is non-toxic, but has a high carbon dioxide content. If not burned enough, the exhaust contains carbon monoxide, which is toxic and potentially fatal. Typically provides combustion efficiency in excess of 85%. In contrast to systems that use liquid or gas as fuel, wood pellet boilers have limited control over the rate and presence of combustion;

Product Introduction
Pellets can be made from grass biomass and other non-woody forms that do not contain lignin: dried lees grains (a byproduct of the brewing industry) can be added to provide the necessary durability. Grass pellet production is more advanced in Europe than North America, according to a 2005 Cornell University News report.
It suggests that the benefits of grass as a raw material include its short growth time (70 days) and ease of growing and processing. The story quotes the school's agriculture professor, Jerry Chani, as saying that grass produces 96 percent of the heat of wood and that "any mixture of grass can be used.
Cut in mid-to-late summer, left in the ground to leach minerals, then packaged and made into pellets. Hay made of pellets does not need to be dried, making it less costly to process than wood pellets.
