The ring burner works best under 2 - 4 in. of fire glass. Our Fire Pit Ring Burners are available in several sizes and you should choose a size that is at least 6 in. smaller than the internal dimensions of your fire pit. Installation is easy.304 stainless steel, flat pan or drop-in pan styles available. Installing gas appliances can be dangerous. Although provides information supporting DIY efforts, all gas connections should be made by a professional gas installer. You can remove the fitting with your hands, but be sure to use a towel or wear gloves as the threads are sharp. If the fitting is too tight to remove with your hands, use a pair of pliers to grip it (don’t worry about damaging the threads, you’re going to discard this portion of the air mixer valve).
