Product Introduction
Design,Unlike classic DIY fire pits, smokeless models feature a double-walled design that eliminates smoke and reduces ash. The air space in the walls of the fire pit becomes a thermal convection chamber. It draws in cool air through holes in the bottom of the outer wall, heating it up quickly before leaving the holes in the upper edge of the inner wall. Air provides oxygen to ignite exhaust particles that would otherwise be released as smoke.
This secondary burn is easy to see because the flame appears to be coming out of the upper hole above the main fire. The best smokeless fire pits reach the secondary burn stage quickly, continue that stage for a longer period of time, and leave very little ash after the fire burns out.
