Why use pallets?There are three good reasons to use trays with integrated burners in fire pits.
1. If you use propane to fuel the system, it is generally considered that using pallets is the best practice, which may actually be required by local regulations.
Why? Propane is heavier than air, so once it is released through the gas port of the burner, its natural tendency is to sink lower. The tray contains propane gas in a limited area, which helps to ensure that the propane gas is effectively burned, thereby reducing the risk of unburned gas gathering in the fire pit structure.
2. The installation of the tray is very simple. In the process of building the fire pit structure, build a "shelf" that can place pallets, and that's it. All pipes are hidden in the invisible place under the tray, and it is easy to disassemble and maintain.
